After thirty long days, Aubrey's album Kickstarter campaign came to an end at 11:59PM last night (6/12). The results were greater than either of us could have hoped for.
With the project now fully funded, we're set to work full time on the album with even more bells and whistles (or cymbals and harmonicas) than before.
Late last night, Aubrey Sinclair officially reached her first Kickstarter goal ($2,000), just one short week after its official launch. From here on out, the project is a guaranteed success. But we're still working on reaching the goal of a fully funded album ($4,000) and then hopefully further on to the even higher goals like vinyl and tours.
If you remember this post from a while back, I'm happy to say that the ball is, indeed, still rolling. Rolling so fast, in fact, that we've put together a Kickstarter to help fund the project.
It's been one heck of a ride to make this thing happen— creating rewards, recording and editing the video, setting up the page, all that jazz —but I'm thrilled that it's finally happening.
